Nicola
Oil paint on canvas 150cm / 96cm
Previous work including my degree show consisted of work which explored my relationship with my
young daughter Nicola. Installations, paintings and varied products with Nicola as a brand / figurehead on wallpaper,
stamps, mugs, t-shirts were put on display. Nicola's drawings of 'children for sale' and her photographs
of me in different guises were also shown.

Bronze plaque

Back of plaque with words inscribed by Nicola and Ken.

Letters and postcards sent with postage stamps with the addition of Nicola 2nd class
stamps. Included here is the one letter which reached its destination with the Nicola stamp on it, which arrived with
a rather sinister Bogus Callers stamp with a rat on it with the words 'if you smell a rat don't let it'.
The perforations on the stamps were made with a sewing machine thanks to Elaine Allison.
